# Classifications

> Learn what a classification is, how to start one in chat, and where to manage it in Settings once it exists.

A classification is a standing set of AI labels over your Salesforce records. For example, Parker can sort cases into categories you define, such as "billing", "delivery delay", or "product fault".

## How do I create a classification?

Classifications start in chat. Describe the records and the categories in plain language, then confirm the proposal card Parker shows.

Classify all cases since March by their description into billing, delivery delay, product fault, or other.

Parker can only classify from text that's filled in. If the field you name is empty on your records, Parker says so instead of guessing.

## Where do I manage classifications?

Classifications appear in **Settings** > **Classifications** once they exist. The page manages their coverage, schedules, budget, and corrections.

Until your workspace has a classification, **Classifications** isn't in the Settings menu. If you open the page anyway, it says **No classifications yet**, with an **Open chat** button.
